They said to call Adobe Customer Service, that Adobe can create a patch of sorts that we could download to make Photoshop compatible with Mojave.

Went into the Apple store, looked into various other programs out there for editing pics. Read the reviews and found PhotoScape X. Not hard to find to download. IT IS FREE EDITING SOFTWARE but if you want the PRO version which gives you so much more, it was $39.99. LOVE THIS SOFTWARE SO FAR. But you do have to practice with it somewhat.
Many of the tools are labeled the same as Photoshop. If you are not sure how to do something through PhotoScape X, they have their own tutorials plus you can YouTube exactly what you are trying to do plus PhotoScape X in the search bar and there will be a video on how to use. Additions more than Photoshop is that you can add what they call stickers (you control the size) you can add text, collage templates, frames in various format for your photos, you can do side by side comparisons, etc. You click less to get to where you need to be. Clone, spot healing, crop, and your saturation, lighten shadows, contrast, color levels are all on sliders making it easier and less guessing on where it should be. Downside, the lasso is used only to cut a subject out, not to inverse.I need for both.
So I will write the PhotoScape company to see if something can be added. Other than that love it. The more you play with it, the more you will find. And for now, unless Adobe gets their act together, I have to have something that I can afford to use.
Feel free to check out other software, but this was highly rated. I am so mad at Adobe right now. Crappy customer service not that the communities aren't helpful but no one can create a patch to fix said problem but Adobe who has gotten too big for their. Hope this helps. I'd be fine with paying a one time fee for a new version of Photoshop that would give me more years with it, I'd even be willing to pay a few hundred dollars. But paying monthly at around $20+/mo is just ridiculous. Over 5 years for example, that's $1200 for one piece of software! I've had CS6 for probably 6-7 years now and love it. I only do graphic design and photo editing on the side as a hobby, so I really don't make money on what I need it for, so it's just not worth paying monthly forever on it, especially when sometimes I don't even use it every month. Thanks for the recommendation of PhotoScape X, I'll check into that one.
